Wow.. how time flies.. Ava had her first day of school on June 23rd. She got all sorts of paraphernalia from her first day which will, of course, go right into her baby book. Because she had to be out of the house at 6am, I'm incredibly sad to report that I did not get any pics of her before she left.. it just wasn't on the brain.. at 5:30am! I was so worried about making sure she had enough milk that I'm surprised the only thing I forgot was a picture. :) Ava did VERY well on her first day. Her teacher's name is Miss Rhonda and Ava got to spend a lot of one on one time getting to know her.. I know Ava has fun while she's there because she's always so pooped when I get home that she goes right to sleep and stays asleep for at least 5-6hrs.. which in our world is huge! It's been really great to be back to work. I couldn't ask for a better schedule.. I think it's the only thing that makes it bearable to be away for a day.
Here's some pics of her with her green moose.. he's her downstairs playmate. He's so soft that she always rubs her feet on him, but I don't think he minds.. he knows that's why he's loved!
I love this pic.. Diggers gives her love all the time.. this time though, he snuck up on her and out went her arms into the "ahh! what just happened" pose.. she scares easily!
This is Ava trying to suck her thumb.. note that the thumb is pointing the exactly opposite way.. ergo, she gets her whole fist in her mouth.. already learning stupid human tricks.
