wow.. it's been a while!

Man.. has it been a month already?? I can't even believe it. I don't even have the 4month pics up yet.. which turned out great and I will post today.. hopefully! Ava is 5monthes old now and I can't believe how big she's getting! Some milestones in the last month include: starting on cereal.. which she loves, not wanting to be swaddled at night anymore, and the newest development... rolling from her tummy to her back. Ava also enjoys standing... all the time! She can also bend over to pick something up and then get herself upright again.. She has also dropped a feeding at night, so we are that much closer to sleeping through the night!

We've had much fun the last month.. Granny C came to visit the beginning of August and help me while Nick was in California for training. We also finally got to meet our nephew/cousin, Kenneth Werner. How fascinating they are together! It is so unreal that they are only 8 days apart, what a trip! While they were here, we went to the zoo, went hiking up rock park (which the babies LOVED!), and went shopping shopping shopping!! Ava got some new winter clothes and we figured out what to be for Halloween for Auntie's Lisa and Marcie's wedding.

Next week, Gramma Anna will be in town to visit while Nick is once again in training. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I've missed my mom a lot lately... we will live closer.. someday! Look for pics coming soon.. Ava has to fall asleep, I have to start laundry, THEN I can post pics!
